One of the main supporters of Philippine sports just celebrated its 23rd anniversary by giving back to 23 sectors.
Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. (BAVI), the company which owns Chooks-to-Go and Uling Roasters, gave 23,000 kilograms of chicken to different sectors who are on the frontlines in the battle against COVID-19.
“It is my hope that through this simple gesture of thanksgiving to them, we can inspire more people to be heroic in their daily lives as well,” said BAVI president Ronald Mascariñas.
For the whole month of September, BAVI was able to hand-out kilos of chicken to medical facilities, zoos, city halls, military camps, barangay halls, public transport groups, schools, and orphanages.
Present in the distribution were some of BAVI’s sports ambassadors including PBA star Kiefer Ravena and UP Fighting Maroons gunner Kobe Paras.
“We are deeply grateful to everyone who had been part of our company’s journey and the country’s fight against the pandemic,” Mascariñas added.
