ILONGGO taekwondo athletes will defend their respective titles this coming Batang Pinoy in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Though coming from different schools, the athletes all represent the Mark V. Pinggol Taekwondo Gym.
Angela Joy Marie Bermejo of Saint Robert’s International Academy’s won gold last year during the Batang Pinoy Visayas Leg and will defend her championship this coming August 25-31.
Senddrick Valencia of Iloilo National High School also garnered gold last year during the Batang Pinoy Taekwondo Championship and will look to retain his title.
Ameila Carla Victoria and Cyd Edryc Esmaña from Ateneo, Jhed Anthony Morata of SRIA, Jannah Ysabel Velez of University of San Agustin, and Assumption’s Roivic John Decafe will complete Iloilo’s taekwondo team that will fly to Palawan.
Mark V. Pinggol, the head coach of the MVP taekwondo gym will accompany the athletes together with their school coaches.
