ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A barber who was in coma after he was shot 9 days ago by a driver for reprimanding him over a noisy motorcycle muffler died Wednesday evening, November 26.
Roxas Aguirre of legal age and resident of Sitio Ilawod Brgy. Dinginan, Roxas City died while confined in a hospital here.
The night before the incident happened, the victim was confronted by Michael Degala also of said place.
Investigation conducted by the Roxas City Police Station said that the night before the incident on November 18, 2025, the victim was engaged in a heated confrontation with the suspect regarding the noise brought by the open muffler motorcycle. The confrontation stopped upon intervention by somebody.
The following day, the suspect went to the barbershop and saw the victim and his step daughter and wife eating breakfast. The suspect suddenly took an unidentified caliber of firearm and
shot the victim in the body.
The suspect hurriedly fled after committing the crime and currently at large and under police manhunt.
