The Perlas Spikers taught the young Choco Mucho team a lesson as they displayed a masterful performance in their clean sweep, 25-18, 25-20, 25-23.
The veteran BanKo team didn’t give the rookie team any chance to recover as they did a wonderful job in both their attacks and net defense, bullying every Choco Mucho attacker as the ball went bouncing into their court each time they set-up for a spike.
Kathy Bersola contributed 10 attacks and an impressive 5 blocks who shouldered the defense for BanKo.
Attackers Dzi Gervacio and Nicole Tiamzon each tallied 13 points and 11 points, respectively.
Maddie Madayag of Choco Mucho showed heart in the third set, trying to lift the team with her massive spikes and blocks, but BanKo just turned the flame down easily with their digs and net defense.
