Police Lieutenant Andy Ofalia, deputy police chief of Police Station 2, said that the 47-year-old councilor was supposed to buy something here for his business when he was reportedly flagged down by the suspects at 18th Lacson Street in Barangay 4 here and threatened him with an ice pick.
Ofalia said the suspects then rode the councilor’s vehicle, declared the hold-up, and instructed him to drive to a motel where he was allegedly mauled and robbed of his valuables.
