Two residents of Badiangan, Iloilo were arrested in a police anti-narcotics operation in Pavia, Iloilo evening of Oct. 6, 2020.
Members of Pavia Police Station nabbed Herman Pajadura, 46, and Ivan Sollorin, 31, both residents of Barangay Iniligan, Badiangan, in a buy-bust operation 8:15 pm Tuesday at Barangay Balabag.
Major Jojo Tabaloc, Pavia police chief, said Pajadura was the subject of their operation while Sollorin was arrested because he acted as driver for his neighbor during the operation.
Recovered from their possession were three sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P70,000.
Also seized from their possession were the P10,000 marked money (including the P100 marked bill), P260 personal cash, a mobile phone, and a Kawasaki motorcycle.
Tabaloc said the suspects are newly identified drug personalities who operate in Pavia.
“But our operatives have been alerted of these personalities. That’s why, some have opted to do their transaction outside of Pavia,” he said.
In the past two days, Tabaloc’s team and other police units have arrested five men and seized P330,000 worth of shabu.
The suspects, who appeared to be members of the same network of pushers, were arrested in three separate anti-illegal gambling operations.
These suspects were collared at Barangay Aganan, Pavia and the nearby towns of Oton and Sta. Barbara.
The two suspects from Badiangan are now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
