BACOLOD City – Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran issued a warning to the public against certain personalities reportedly misrepresenting and using his name.
In a public notice posted on his Facebook page, Familiaran said that “it has come to our attention that there are persons representing themselves as Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran ordering food from business establishments here in the city and having them delivered to the office.”
He said that this week, the posers victimized Living Water Refilling Station, Kuppa Coffee and Cocktails, Sanders Coffee and Sausages and Bros Asados Food Hub and Ms. Jo Milktea shop.
Familiaran lamented that local businesses are just getting back on their feet because of this pandemic yet some people still have the time to prank them and worse, politicize the matter.
The vice mayor cautioned business establishments in the city.
“Please be extra careful,” he said.
He asked them to check and validate such orders through his personal number, official FB page, and office.
