BACOLOD City – International Solo Mask performances are part of the opening ceremonies of the 2019 MassKara Festival on Oct. 7, 2019.
Festivals from Cambodia and Indonesia are sending performers, Festival Director Eli Tajanlangit said.
Cambodia will perform a dance called “Mechanub” while Indonesia will present “Janger Jana Kerthi”.
Their inclusion in the program which will segue to MassKara performances are meant to highlight the fact that in the 40th edition of the festival it is now on the global stage, Tajanlangit added.
The opening ceremonies are scheduled at 5 p.m. at The Bandstand, Bacolod Public Plaza.
