BACOLOD City – This city now has 28 cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 while Negros Occidental has 43 as of this writing.
The last three cases reported in the province of Negros Occidental are all Locally Stranded Individuals ((LSIs) from Cebu City.
The surge in the number of cases in the province was mostly traced to LSIs from Cebu, data showed.
For the city of Bacolod, 17 patients have recovered, 3 died while 8 are categorized as active cases and are asymptomatic.
The Bacolod cases include:
-14 Overseas Filipino Workers,
-3 Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs),
-5 with travel history,
-1 without travel history but with exposure,
-1 with travel history and exposure, and
-4 without travel history and without exposure to an identified COVID-19 case.
