BACOLOD CITY – Fifteen grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 were seized from a young man in a drug bust at his rented house in Purok Katilingban II, Barangay 39, yesterday.
Police identified the suspect as alias “C-jay,” 20.
Confiscated from him were seven sachets of suspected shabu and P500 in marked money.
Police Major Elmer Bonilla, head of Police Station 1, stated that they subjected the suspect to a buy-bust operation after receiving information from the barangay about his alleged illegal activity.
Bonilla noted that this was the second time the rented house was busted, but the house owner does not reside there.
He mentioned that a few months ago, another suspect was arrested for the same offense at the same house.
Charges for the sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs will be filed against the suspect, according to Bonilla.
