BACOLOD City – Real-time data from the Emergency Operations Center-Task Force indicated that Bacolod had no new COVID-19 case on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
Mayor Evelio Leonardia said this is the third time this year that Bacolod registered zero case in a day.
The city also had zero COVID cases on Feb 2 and 21, 2022, the EOC-TF said.
Leonardia thanked Bacolodnons for their continued compliance to minimum health protocols despite the de-escalation of the city under Alert Level 1.
AL1 is the lowest COVID alert classification established by the IATF.
He also reiterated his call to “live with the virus and adjust to it accordingly and cautiously” as AL1 ushers in the new normal.
“This is one of the reasons why Bacolod is one of the 39 LGUs in the Philippines to be deescalated to Alert Level 1 by the IATF,” Leonardia said
