Bacolod gets help from another LGU
BACOLOD City – The local government here will hire an employee from another local government unit (LGU) in Negros Occidental next year. During Tuesday’s press briefing, Mayor Alfredo “Albee” Benitez said that Dr. John Michael Cabugwason will be hired by the city government as assistant veterinarian of the Bacolod Veterinary Office.

BACOLOD City – The local government here will hire an employee from another local government unit (LGU) in Negros Occidental next year.
During Tuesday’s press briefing, Mayor Alfredo “Albee” Benitez said that Dr. John Michael Cabugwason will be hired by the city government as assistant veterinarian of the Bacolod Veterinary Office.
Cabugwason is currently the veterinarian of Victorias City government. “He will be helping out our City Veterinary Office,” Benitez said.
Benitez clarified that the Victorias City government offered to help this city, thus he accepted their help.
Benitez said that Cabugwason could possibly help address the issues in the City Veterinary Office here, including the slaughterhouse.
The contract of AVM Bernardo Slaughterhouse with the city government will end in 2028.
