BACOLOD City – Two individuals were arrested in separate operations here on May 4, 2021 at around 9 a.m.
Bacolod City Police Station 10 first arrested Anthony Galve Sr., 55, of Block 7, Purok Narra, Barangay Handumanan.
Galve is the subject of an arrest warrant issued by Bacolod City Regional Trial Court Branch 41 Judge Phoebe Gargantiel-Balbin for violation of Section 5 of Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act).
Meanwhile, the Bacolod City Mobile Force Company collared Edmar Entierro, 23, of Crossing Carmen, Barangay Granada at Kupeta Coffee Shop in the said village.
Judge Balbin also issued the warrant of arrest for violation of Section 5b, Article III of RA 7610 in Criminal Case No. 21-53421
Both suspects were not allowed to post bail.
Galve Sr is presently detained at Bacolod City Police Station 10 while Entierro is at Bacolod City Police Station 5.
