BACOLOD City – A one year and 11 months old baby boy drowned in a water well at Barangay Concepcion, Talisay City, Negros Occidental Sunday, December 22.
Police withheld the name of the fatality.
Police Major Jigger Gimeno, city police chief, said the incident happened when the baby’s elder sister reportedly left her brother at home to buy something at the sari-sari store.
The victim was found by his mother floating in the well near their house, few hours after he went missing.
Gimeno said the victim’s mother was not home when the incident happened.
The victim was taken to Talisay City Health Center and was later transferred to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital here, where he expired few hours later.
