Welcome to the Earth Kingdom as Avatar: The Last Airbender returns in 2026 for its second season.
Netflix has released the official teaser and first-look photos for the highly anticipated season, offering a glimpse of fan-favorite Earthbender Toph, played by Miya Cech.
The teaser also features returning cast members Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, and Ian Ousley as Sokka.
New photos from season 2 have been unveiled while fans await the series’ return.
Season 2 stars Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Dallas Liu, Miya Cech, Elizabeth Yu, Ty Lee, and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, with Maria Zhang and Daniel Dae Kim.
Avatar: The Last Airbender follows Aang, the young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements—water, earth, fire, and air—to restore balance to a world threatened by the Fire Nation.
Season 2 picks up after Team Avatar’s bittersweet victory protecting the Northern Water Tribe from a Fire Nation invasion.
Aang, Katara, and Sokka set out to find the elusive Earth King and secure his support in their fight against Fire Lord Ozai.
The series is a live-action reimagining of Nickelodeon’s award-winning animated show.
Christine Boylan serves as executive producer and writer.
Executive producer and director Jabbar Raisani leads the directing team, which also includes Anu Menon, Amit Gupta, and Hiromi Kamata.
Rideback’s Dan Lin and Ryan Halprin serve as executive producers, with Brendan Ferguson and Albert Kim also executive producing.
