Austin Dilag Nerosa feted at chic black-tie bash

Austin Dilag Nerosa turned his birthday into a high-style, black-themed soirée timed with the Dinagyang Festival, welcoming family and friends to Megaworld Iloilo’s Bourbon Street Resto for an evening on the al fresco terrace overlooking the city’s festival glow.

The night carried a distinctly high-society mood, with guests in black glam moving from cocktails to an eclectic dinner spread, cool wines and other beverages, and a DJ set that leaned into soul and disco favorites as the celebration gathered pace.

As U.S.-based Buds Dilag-Canja said, “ It was really a perfect evening to celebrate with family and friends partyphiles while witnessing the breathtaking fireworks of Megaworld along with spectacular Dinagyang Festival’s Ilomination Parade, it was truly a night to remember this night as Iloilo City Rocks!”

Between sets, those who skipped the dance floor were seen toasting, singing along, and holding court from the sidelines as the terrace buzzed with laughter and late-night conversation.

Nerosa said, “The best thing about reaching a milestone is having good family and friends to fashionably toast it. It is a fantastic bonus when one is blessed with well-wishers who have truly elevated the mundane task of entertaining and partying to a sublime art.”

Dinagyang is Iloilo City’s signature festival, known for its grand street-dance performances honoring the Santo Niño, along with evening spectacles that turn key venues into social hubs for locals and visiting revelers.
