For three days, Atom goes through ground classes and tedious trainings in Dumaguete with one goal in mind – to be able to fly and pilot a plane.
As he immerses as a student pilot, he meets individuals who have dedicated their lives to the aviation industry. One of Atom’s classmates, Emie Timawain, is a new student in the school. For 10 years, she has served as the school’s janitress and runner. Until last year, she was offered a scholarship and is now officially a student pilot.
The host also meets one of the best instructors in the aviation school, Captain JT Cordova, who started his journey back in 2013. He became a pilot at the age of 17, and has been teaching more than 30 students in the past decade.
As Atom takes the challenge thrown at him very seriously, will he manage to do a successful take-off and fly a smooth flight?
Catch Atom in his pilot era on I-Witness’ “Pangarap na Paglipad” this June 8, 10:15 p.m. on GMA.
