The Ateneo de Iloilo taekwondo athletes dominated the 2019 Regional Inter-school Taekwondo Championships Elementary division and were crowned as the overall champs of the tournament.
The Atenean Jins took control of every category in a whole day of competitive Taekwondo held at Miagao Iloilo last September 14, 2019,
In the Poomsae events, Andria Margaret Palabrica and Geon Ivan Dulaca bagged the gold medal, while Enzo Lucio Cape got silver.
For the Kyorugi events, Enzo Lucio Cape, Josh Karl Macahilig, Adrian Joseph Gasajan III, Samantha Gayle Go, Bronze Villa, and Maria Beatrize Santos all notched gold medals while Neljane Wentworh Belgira and Jozef Marti Linga got silver, clinching bronze were Sophie Ysabelle Belonio and Gabriel Dominic Capadosa.
The athletes were coached by Mark V. Pinggol.
