CAUAYAN, Negros Occidental – The Army’s 15th Infantry (Molave Warrior) Battalion based here copped the Battle Streamer Award on Dec 21, 2020 at the Lapu-Lapu Grandstand of Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
The awarding ceremony is part of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) 85th Founding Anniversary celebration. This year’s theme dubbed as “Pinag-isang Lakas na Maasahan ng Pilipino”.
The award is a recognition of this unit’s efforts in the Liberation of Marawi City. This is also a tribute to fallen Molave Warrior heroes who offered their lives to serve and secure Filipino people.
Lieutenant Colonel Erwin Cariño, 15 IB’s Commanding Officer, lauded the efforts, and sacrifices of the Molave Warrior troopers.
“The accomplishments of 15IB shows the commitment, and dedication to serve and secure every Filipino families. The 15IB continuously upholds excellence and stand firm in protecting the security and best interest of the country,” Lt. Col Cariño said.
