Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury set for heavyweight unification this 2021

For all the marbles, the current top two boxing heavyweights finally agreed to terms and are now set for the unification of their belts this 2021.

Anthony Joshua, the current WBA, IBF, and WBO world heavyweight champion of the world will put his belt on the line against the WBC champion, Tyson Fury.

Matchroom boxing company by Eddie Hearn and Top Rank’s Bob Arum released the development and confirmed that the signed contract will feature a two-fight deal.

The first fight between the two sluggers will happen either this June or July and the next bout is still yet to be determined.

“The hard part is always getting everybody to put pen to paper. But this was a major effort from all parties to get this over the line. You had rival promoters, rival networks and rival fighters,” said Hearn.

For the first fight, both Joshua and Fury will have an equal split of 50-50 in the total earnings and the rematch will have a 60-40 split with the winner taking the higher value.

Currently, both Hearn and Arum will have 30 days to finalize the venue, the final date, and the terms to be met for both fighting camps.
