BACOLOD City – The decomposing body of an infant was found under a bridge at Hacienda Malisbog 2, Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City, Negros Occidental last Saturday.
This is the third baby that was reported abandoned by unidentified persons in separate areas in the province this week.
Based on police investigation, the baby’s remains were placed inside an eco bag and placed in a box.
The baby was already beyond recognition. The remains were brought to Manapla Funeral.
Last Friday, a newborn baby boy was found in a sugarcane field in Barangay Poblacion 2, Sagay City. He was brought to a hospital for medical examination.
On that same day, a lifeless newborn baby girl was found dead in a garbage dumpsite in Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City.
