ROXAS CITY, Capiz – One more colleague of alleged forex investment scam brains Lourdes Baarde is now detained at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Roxas City Jail in Barangay San Jose here.
Lito Burias, 36 of Sitio Arcabalo, Barangay Bolo here was remitted to the BJMP following his arrest at his house in President Roxas recently for the crime of syndicated estafa.
The warrant for his arrest was issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Kristine Tiangco-Vinculado last August 28, 2019. He was not allowed to post bail.
To recall, Baarde of Brgy. Baybay here and his cohort Joel Domayan of Quezon City were arrested in separate operations last month in Metro Manila.
Three other colleagues identified as Rachel Chavez, Rebecca Venturado of Mandaluyong City and Gerlinski Bravo of Alcazar Subdivision here are still under police manhunt for the same crime.
