Another ex-con falls in drug sting

Another former convict is back in jail after he was arrested anew in a police anti-illegal drug operations late morning of July 24, 2022 in Pavia, Iloilo.
Police arrested Michael Larroza, 28, at his place in Barangay Tigum, Pavia.
Members of Pavia Municipal Police Station nabbed Larroza after selling a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,500.
Recovered from the suspect were several sachets of suspect shabu, P1,500 cash, a disposable lighter, and a pouch.
Major Rolando Araño, Pavia police chief, said that the seized drugs weighed around 17 grams and valued at P110,000.
Larroza is reportedly on probation after he was earlier arrested for a drug-related offense.
More than a month ago, police learned that he allegedly returned to illegal drug peddling.
Larroza is now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
