Another Capiz OFW positive for COVID-19

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Another Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Capiz tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
According to the Department of Health (DOH) Regional Office 6, the patient is a 33-year-old female from Brgy. Carataya Cuartero, Capiz. She is presently in quarantine at the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital here.
The woman is six months pregnant and arrived in Metro Manila from Dubai on June 8, 2020.
She initially tested negative in the real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test while in Manila.
On June 12, she went home and arrived in Capiz the following day. On June 15, she again underwent RT-PCR test, which turned out positive for the virus based on the result released on June 20.
The patient is asymptomatic.
