Cholo Anonuevo is getting all the support that he needs now that he is starting to train under a US- based sports agency, the East West Private.
In his first days at the gym, a 7’2’’ center was always by his side guiding him through all the drills and giving him tips.
It was Kai Sotto.
The NBA G-League bound Filipino basketball sensation is also under the same sports agency and welcomed Anonuevo like a brother recognizing the fact that they are on the same journey.
“So proud of Kai Sotto’s leadership both on and off the court! It’s important in life to give back because that’s what family does! Partnerships and networks are key,” read the Instagram post of the sports agency.
The former FEU Baby Tamaraws swingman will most likely spend the remaining months of the year in the US and finish his stint under East West.
As of now, there is still no confirmation whether Anonuevo will go back to the Philippines or stay in the US and test the waters just like Sotto.
