A wave of Iloilo’s homegrown musical talent took center stage during AMPLIFY Nights: Iloilo’s Emerging Music Scene Unplugged, a student-led event held recently at ONCÉ Coffee Shop in Molo.
Spearheaded by third-year BA Communication students from the University of San Agustin (USA), the event was part of a campaign for their Social Media and Mobile Technology for Advocacy course.
The initiative aimed to support local artists by providing a platform to share their music with a broader audience.
The lineup featured rising talents from Iloilo’s music scene, including Neo-Ilo, Ragna Ral Froy, Ghenno De Leon, Dan Pornel, Materuda, Arden Blu, Jeks Bstrd and Dread Gang.
Guest performances by Black Rose from Kalibo and Rock Opong added energy to the evening.
As Iloilo’s creative scene continues to grow, AMPLIFY Nights aspires to become a recurring event that promotes artistic development and strengthens the city’s cultural identity.
Following its successful debut, the project is poised to become a vital platform for emerging musical voices.
