Two suspected drug pushers were arrested after suspected shabu worth P240,000 were seized from their possession following an anti-narcotics operation in Roxas City, Capiz.
Rommel Tiu, 29, of Barangay Culajao, and Loreto Delgado III, 39, of Barangay Mongpong, Roxas City, were collared 6:20 p.m. of April 6, 2020 at Culajao village.
Members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) – Capiz Provincial Office and Roxas City Police Station confiscated seven sachets weighing around 35 grams of suspected shabu from the suspects.
The suspects yielded the P1,000 marked money, P18,000 boodle money, a mobile phone, and pouch.
Tiu and Delgado were arrested after two months of surveillance operation.
Charges for violation of Sections 5, 11 and 26 in relation to Section 5, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.
