Alimodian Brings Government Services to Upland Barangay

The Municipality of Alimodian, Iloilo conducted the Retooled Community Support Program on June 19, 2025, in Barangay Manasa, one of the upland areas collectively known as the “Seven Cities.”

The RCSP Serbisyo Caravan delivered essential government services to this geographically remote area, improving access for local residents.

A key feature of the event was the participation of the Department of Trade and Industry Iloilo Provincial Office, in partnership with Negosyo Center Alimodian.

As part of its support for micro, small and medium enterprises, DTI Iloilo offered consultancy, advocacy, and networking services during the caravan.

Activities included one-on-one business consultations on registration, product development and marketing strategies.

DTI also conducted information sessions and advocacy talks on consumer rights, entrepreneurship opportunities, and government support programs.

In addition, DTI facilitated linkage-building efforts to connect local producers with wider markets and institutional partners.

Its presence empowered aspiring and existing entrepreneurs in Barangay Manasa through access to business resources and livelihood guidance.

Other key partners included DILG-Alimodian, DILG Region VI, the Iloilo Provincial Government, the 61st Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army, Alimodian Municipal Police Station, and the Bureau of Fire Protection.

The RCSP Serbisyo Caravan is part of a nationwide strategy to deliver government services to underserved communities.

It reflects a whole-of-government approach to advancing peace, development and inclusive progress.
