ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A school principal assigned in Aklan province survived after the car he was driving accidentally fell off a hilly portion of a road early Friday morning, May 8, in Barangay Bula, Mambusao.
Reports from the Mambusao Municipal Police Station showed that the victim was on his way to Iloilo City to attend a seminar when he lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curved road, hit a stockpile, and fell off the road.
Residents in the area responded and rescued the victim, who sustained minor injuries and bruises, while the car was damaged.
The car was brought to the Mambusao Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
