One of the most wanted persons of Batan, Aklan was arrested Aug 11 in Sampaloc, Manila.
Rady Elias, 53, was nabbed at Fajardo St., Zone 44, Barangay 429, Sampaloc.
Elias, who hails from Barangay Lupit, Batan, is wanted for the crime of rape.
Operatives from Batan Police Station, together with the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group – Bulacan, Novaliches Police Station and Police Station 4 of the Manila Police District, collared the suspect by the strength of an alias warrant of arrest in Criminal Cases Nos. 10849-10855.
Judge Bienvenido Barrios of the Regional Trial Court Branch 3 in Kalibo, Aklan issued the warrant with no bail.
Relatedly, another wanted person charged for rape was also collared in Antique province.
Randex Rellino, 35, was arrested 10 am Wednesday at his house in Sitio Suha, Barangay Alegria, Caluya town.
Members of Caluya Police Station apprehended the suspect for three counts of rape in Criminal Case Nos. 20-CA-0041-CR and 20-CA-0042-CR and 20-CA-0033-CR.
No bail was set for his provisional liberty.
