AHEAD offers 90,000 free college review scholarships
MANILA, Philippines — About 90,000 public senior high school students nationwide are expected to receive free online review scholarships from AHEAD Review and Tutorial Center.
The ReviewLab scholarship program will provide fully funded review slots to qualified public school students, particularly academic achievers and student leaders.
AHEAD founder Rossana Llenado said the program is part of the organization’s effort to help talented Filipino students prepare for admission to their preferred state universities and colleges.
AHEAD is working with public schools, academic institutions and civic organizations to distribute information and support the program.
ReviewLab was developed by Llenado’s twin sons, Nicolo and Paolo.
“I believe in harnessing the full potential of the Filipino youth,” Llenado said. “When we invest in talented Filipino students, we are investing in future professionals, innovators, leaders and nation-builders.”
The program’s long-term goal is to develop educated leaders who will serve the country with integrity and honesty in their chosen professions.
Selected scholars and their parents will also receive guidance to help the students choose college programs and career paths through which they can contribute to society.
Interested schools may seek a partnership with AHEAD through ReviewLab’s website.
Established in 1995, AHEAD provides academic tutorials and preparation programs for college entrance examinations, according to information published about the scholarship.
Its review programs include preparation for the admission tests of the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University and the University of Santo Tomas.
