BACOLOD City – Acting Negros Occidental Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer asked the Provincial Engineer’s Office (PEO) to also furnish him with copies of the reports of contractors undertaking provincial government projects.
Ferrer said he also wants to look into the list of contractors with delayed projects.
Ferrer, who is acting governor of the province while Lacson is on vacation in the United States, added “They need to have the report so they can protect the interest of the province.”
He will furnish copies of the report to the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan so they can review it.
Earlier, the provincial administrator of the provincial government of Negros Occidental called out contractors who have yet to finish their projects, resulting in fund losses on the part of the Capitol.
