ACMobility, the country’s largest dealer network for Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI), has planted its 15,000th tree under the Advancing Community, Reforestation, and Environmental Responsibility (ACRE) Movement.
The milestone was celebrated at the Carbon Forest Site in Kan-Irag Nature Park, Cebu City, coinciding with the 33rd anniversary of Honda Cars Cebu.
Launched in 2022, the ACRE Movement pledges to plant and nurture one tree for every Honda vehicle sold in the Philippines.
The initiative initially targeted 10,000 trees in two years but has now exceeded expectations with 15,000 thriving native species including Narra, Tuai, Toog, Kamagong, Lagnob, Almaciga, and Kalingag.
Customers, executives, employees, and car owners joined the milestone event, which also featured participants from Cebu, Mandaue, Iloilo, Negros Occidental, and Cagayan de Oro branches.
The recognition for the 15,000th tree went to a customer who purchased a 2025 Honda BR-V at the Mandaue dealership, symbolizing her direct contribution to the environmental cause.
“We want to make sure that we don’t just plant trees—we also nurture them,” said Steve Gingco, Head of Auto Care and Retail.
“This is our commitment to ensure that future generations inherit a greener and healthier environment,” he added.
Beyond tree planting, the ACRE Movement supports carbon offsetting, watershed protection, and biodiversity restoration in Ayala Land’s carbon forest sites in Alaminos, Laguna, and Kan-Irag, Cebu.
The program’s Gift of Tree campaign has become a key component of ACMobility’s vision for sustainability and responsible mobility.
With every new Honda vehicle sold, customers take part in building a greener future while driving with innovation and purpose.
ACMobility, a subsidiary of the Ayala Group of Companies, also operates the country’s largest dealer networks for Honda and Isuzu, while serving as the official distributor of Kia, Volkswagen, and BYD.
It is the master franchisor of the Bosch Car Service workshop network, which provides diagnostics and repair services for complex vehicle systems.
Since 2023, the Ayala Group has been investing in electric vehicle charging stations to support the country’s shift to electrified mobility.
ACMobility currently manages a growing EV charging network in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, with digital platforms under development to expand nationwide access.
