The charming Ilongga, Dr. Bree Chaplin, and debonair Manileño, Dr. Anton Neric, first met during their student days at the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health in Metro Manila.
It wasn’t long before they realized they were meant to be together, and their love story culminated in a grand wedding celebration, dahlings!
Blessed with fine weather in the bride’s hometown of Iloilo, the couple exchanged vows at Santa Maria Parish Church before heading to a luxurious reception at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel’s elegant Jade Ballroom.
The festivities began with a sparkling cocktail hour in the hotel lobby, adorned with stunning floral arrangements and portraits of the couple.
Guests enjoyed delicious welcome drinks and bite-sized treats by Rustica, courtesy of Chef Miguel Cordova, while a mini orchestra played classic romantic tunes.
For the grand dinner-dance reception, no detail was spared as international event stylist Robert Blancaflor transformed the ballroom into a breathtaking romantic scene.
The room glowed with candlelight, draped white fabrics, fresh imported blooms, and dazzling chandeliers, creating a royal ambiance.
Beaming with joy was the ever-chic grandmother of the bride, Norma Padilla Rosales, alongside the parents of the newlyweds – Jet Anthony Luna Neric and Anna Maria Ramos-Neric, and Robert Lewis Chaplin and Beverly Rosales-Chaplin – who warmly welcomed guests.
Everyone was treated to a sumptuous five-star feast prepared by culinary maestro Chef Ding Montelibano.
Months of meticulous planning paid off with unforgettable entertainment: a flamenco dance by the bride’s mother, Beverly Rosales-Chaplin, and sister Joji Rosales-Cid and friends, a vocal performance by the bride’s cousin, Dr. Nikko Rosales-Cid, and a fun dance by the newlyweds.
The open bar served up flowing cocktails while DJ Ryan Espinosa kept the dance floor alive until the early morning hours.
What truly made Dr. Anton and Dr. Bree’s union special was how it brought together friendship, family and love in one unforgettable celebration.
Cheers and best wishes, Drs. Bree and Anton! God bless!
