At the height of Iloilo City’s iconic Dinagyang Festival 2026, all the elements of an inspired evening came together for a magnificent thanksgiving dinner in honor of Señor Sto. Niño, hosted by the Rosales family at their Strawberry Mansion.
The annual gathering, held during Dinagyang—one of the Philippines’ most vibrant religious and cultural festivals celebrating devotion to the Santo Niño—has become a much-anticipated society tradition in the City of Love.
Although the family’s grand matriarch, Norma Padilla-Rosales, was unwell that cool evening, her children, led by Baby Rosales, ensured the event’s success.
They were joined by sisters Joji “Pane” Rosales and Beverly “Pangging” Rosales-Chaplin, who personally supervised every detail, from the elegant fresh floral arrangements to the striking Dinagyang warrior headdresses adorning the walls.
Also present was their brother, Bobby Rosales, who set the retro-inspired musical tone for the evening with DJ Edwin Zulueta on the decks.
Pane Rosales, accompanied by her son, Dr. Nico R. Cid, and Pangging Rosales-Chaplin, together with her daughter, Dr. Bree Chaplin-Neric, and son-in-law, Dr. Anton Neric, warmly welcomed A-list guests from across the country and abroad.
A lavish spread of hors d’oeuvres by Chef Ding Montelibano, paired with free-flowing beverage delights, kept guests captivated throughout what many called the opening society party of the year.
The evening concluded on a jubilant note, marked by prayers of gratitude and heartfelt toasts in keeping with the spirit of faith, family, and festivity that defines Dinagyang.
Viva Señor Sto. Niño.
