9 of 13 heinous crime convicts transferred to Iloilo jail

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Police here transferred 9 of the 13 heinous crime convicts in Capiz to the Iloilo District Jail in Pototan, Iloilo.
The convicts were released from National Bilibid Prison because of the Good Conduct Time Allowance (GCTA) Law.
Police Executive Master Sergeant Donna Asmod, Capiz Police Provincial Office(CPPO) spokesperson, said in a radio interview here that two of the heinous crimes convicts surrendered to Dumarao PNP and one each to Sapian, Tapaz and Jamindan PNP stations.
Asmod said that four heinous crime convicts are now subjects of police manhunt following their failure to turn themselves in to authorities.
President Rodrigo Duterte ordered heinous crime convicts to surrender on or before Sept. 19, 2019.
