9 nabbed for ‘shabu’, ‘marijuana’

BACOLOD City – Nine persons were arrested in four buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental on August 1, 2019.
Arrested at Barangay Tangub here were Jason Jamonong, and JR Montanez, after police confiscated from them 11 sachets of suspected shabu worth P34,000. Both suspects are detained at Police Station 8.
Also arrested here at Barangay Handumanan was Clarence Margen after he allegedly yielded four sachets of suspected shabu worth P20,000. He is detained at Police Station 10.
In Salvador Benedicto town, Igmayaan village residents – Jovanie Cabantugan, 40, and Chito Caballero, 35; Lucille Morales, 23, and Ronie Cordero, 30, both residents of Barangay 19 here; and Ariel Cabantugan, 31, of Barangay Pandanon Silos, Murcia town were arrested which resulted in the recovery of five sachets of suspected shabu worth P12,000, more or less 250 grams of suspected marijuana worth P4,000, the P300 marked money, and P840 in cash.
In Escalante City, Benjie Rosales, 34, of Barangay Balintawak was arrested at Barangay Jonob-Jonob for the confiscation of five sachets of suspected shabu, and the P500 marked money.
