ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Capiz has logged 847 cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) after 11 new cases were recorded Thursday.
Based on the case bulletin from the Capiz Provincial Health (PHO), the 11 new cases are all in Roxas City.
The PHO bulletin also indicated 213 cases were considered suspect, 136 Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI), 43 Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROF), 370 High Risk Contacts, and 85 other individuals.
125 cases are considered active or under treatment, 679 have recovered and 43 died.
Meanwhile, the Municipal Police Station of Dumalag in Dumalag, Capiz remained under lockdown after 12 police officers tested positive for COVID-19.
Four officers are presently quarantined at Kabalaka Isolation Facility, while 8 are in Dumalag MPS.
All officers are asymptomatic.
The five other officers, including the police chief, are negative for the virus.
