AFTER a series of elimination games, four teams remain and will face off in the semifinals of the 82nd Charter Day League of Legends tournament on August 24.
The Miracles from Saint Robert’s International Academy (SRIA), Griffons of the John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University Team A (JBLFMU), Leviathans from West Visayas State University (WVSU), and the Central Philippine University Golden Lions (CPU) are the semifinalists for this year’s Charter day LOL semifinalists.
In the semis, SRIA will face JBLFMU while WVSU is set to face CPU in the other bracket.
The tournament finals will immediately follow after determining the winners from the semis.
During the quarterfinals, SRIA defeated WVSU while JBLFMU dismissed ICNHS Almighty.
Coming from the loser’s bracket, WVSU and CPU had to play an extra series outlasting WIT and ICNHS respectively to advance to the semifinals.
The semifinals will be held at the Iloilo Diamond Jubilee Hall, 9 a.m.
