Before, it was the US Florida Online Poomsae Championships where Ilonggo jins training in the New Star Taekwondo School in Iloilo turned heads in the international stage.
Just this September, 8 skilled and prized jins from the same taekwondo gym delivered medals and raised the banner of Iloilo during the 2nd Online “Cosmo” Open Poomsae Championships 2020 organized by the Hong Kong Taekwondo Cosmopolitan Club.
The taekwondo gym mentored and supervised by Master Kim, assisted by coach Keva Labrador, was able to continue their impressive outing from the past months.
Eunice Angela Castante, Franchezka Therese Guihama, Paul Dominic Callado, Clark Zed ABello, and Anje Grace Espanillo all put-out dominant performances and delivered gold medals.
Meanwhile, Tisha Seth Escrupulo, Ella Marie Dagoco, and Maxene Dagoco fell a place short of the gold medal and managed to clinch second place.
For now, Master Kim and assistant coach Labrador are eager to win more and vow to represent the City of Love in the next prestigious tournaments.
