ROXAS CITY, Capiz – 71,080 persons in Capiz have been vaccinated against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), based on data from the Provincial Health Office (PHO) on August 1, 2021.
The number is 13.1% of the 544,670 population eligible for vaccination.
The data indicated that 70,000 received their first dose while 54,450 were fully vaccinated.
Inoculation is ongoing for frontline healthcare workers (A1), senior citizens (A2) and persons 18 to 59 years old with comorbidities (A3).
Meanwhile, three persons from Roxas City died from COVID-19 died recently.
At present, Roxas City has 2,694 confirmed cases (247 active cases, 2,331 recoveries, and 116 deaths).
