ROXAS CITY, Capiz – About 67.65% of barangays in the province of Capiz are considered cleared of illegal drugs.
This is based on data collected by Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) in January 2021.
The data indicated that of the 473 barangays in the province of Capiz, 273 are classified as slightly affected, 99 are moderately affected by illegal drugs and 101 are non-affected.
As of January 22, 2021, about 320 barangays were certified by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) as free of illegal drugs.
Capiz Provincial Police Office (PPO) Director Police Colonel Julio Gustilo Jr. encouraged the public to continue supporting the campaign of the police against this illegal work.
The proof here is the safe and successful operation of the authorities last year.
