ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases here is now at 642 after four new cases were recorded on Jan 3, 2021.
According to the City Health Office, the new cases were high risk contacts of earlier positive cases.
The new cases include a 60-year-old woman from Sitio Nasagud, Lanot; a 41-year-old woman from St. Joseph, Barangay Tiza; an eight-year-old girl also of St. Joseph, Tiza; and a 43-year-old seafarer from Alba Village, Barangay Dingin.
At present, Roxas City has 11 active cases, 594 recoveries, and 37 deaths.
The province of Capiz has 1,203 confirmed cases with 1,125 recoveries and 58 deaths.
