BACOLOD City – Six persons were arrested in separate buy-bust operations leading to the seizure of PHP239,100 worth of suspected shabu here and in Negros Occidental from January 18 to 19, 2021.
In Bacolod City, Arielle Discutido, a street level individual was arrested while his companion identified as Romulo Hamantoc, a high value individual managed to escape during a buy-bust operation at Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2 last Monday.
The operation was conducted by the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU)-6.

Police recovered from the suspect seven sachets of suspected shabu worth PHP123,500, and the PHP2,000 marked money.
Another drug bust was conducted in the said village yesterday which resulted in the recovery of PHP74,800 worth of suspected shabu from Dhece Rose Duadores, 22. She is detained at Police Station 2.
Meanwhile, in the province, four persons were apprehended in the cities of Bago, San Carlos, and Silay, and town of Pontevedra.
The provincial policemen confiscated PHP40,800 worth of the said contraband.
