BACOLOD City – The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) here arrested 526 persons from January to May 2019.
Of the total figure, 48 were classified as “most wanted persons” while 478 were “other wanted persons.”
The PNP defines most wanted persons as “the most notorious among wanted persons whose arrest is prioritized and most sought.
Police Major Edison Garcia, public information officer of Nocppo, said they have received 347 arrest warrants.
Nocppo records showed that 468 operations were conducted in five months.
Of the total number, police conducted 48 operations against most wanted persons and 420 operations against other wanted persons.
