BACOLOD City – Five persons were arrested in a drug raid on a boarding house at Purok Masinadyahon, Barangay 12 here Thursday night.
Police identified the target subject as Emil Orolan, 26, of the said village. He is a high value target.
Also arrested were his companions – Mark Trujillo, 40, of Barangay 14; Kerwin Celiz, 32, of Silay City; and Lolito Villarito, 32, and Rothel Mahinay, 32, both residents of Barangay Handumanan.
Police Major Jovil Sedel, head of Police Station 1, said Orolan’s companions were caught holding a “pot session” during the buy-bust operation around 10:30 p.m. All four suspects will be subjected to a drug test.
Police seized from them eight sachets of suspected shabu worth P90,000, the P100 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
All five suspects are detained at the said police station.
Meanwhile, in Murcia town, Marvin Misajon, 43, of Barangay Zone 5, a high value target, was arrested in a drug bust at Barangay Blumentritt last Thursday.
Authorities confiscated from him three sachets of suspected shabu, the P200 marked money, and a motorcycle.
Misajon is detained at Murcia Municipal Police Station.
Meanwhile, a 51-year-old man was arrested in a drug bust at Barangay Mambulac, Silay City yesterday.
Police identified the suspect as Rodolfo Flores of the said village, a high value target of the police.
Recovered from Flores were eight sachets of suspected shabu weighing 20 grams worth P300,000, the P500 marked money, and P5,500 boodle money.
Flores is detained at Silay City Police Station.
