BACOLOD City – A total of 466 persons were arrested last Thursday for violating General Community Quarantine (GCQ) protocols in Executive Order No. 35 issued by Mayor Evelio Leonardia.
Based on the data from the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), Police Station 4 has the highest number of violators with 64; followed by Police Station 8, 57; Police Station 6, 45; Police Station 10, 44; Police Station 1, 42; Mobile Patrol Group, 39; Police Station 2, 29; Police Station 3, 26; Police Station 7, 24; Police Station 9 and Bacolod City Mobile Force Company, with 20 each; and Police Station 5, 3.
These violators were arrested in simultaneous operations conducted by the BCPO personnel this week.
They were caught not wearing face masks and not observing physical distancing, which are violations under the executive order, the BCPO said.
The BCPO has been intensifying its measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) here, considering that persons not covered by the curfew can now leave their houses anytime.
