ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Around 43,000 poor and indigent tricycle operators, drivers and vendors can avail of the P3,000 cash assistance from the national government.
Capiz Governor Esteban Evan Contreras said the aid is under the Assistance for Indigent in Crisis Situation (AICS).
“No politics in the distribution of the cash aid as he will ensure that everybody who are qualified avail of the aid,” the governor said.
The distribution of the aid has been ongoing since last week through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
