BACOLOD City – About 400 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) of the Metro Bacolod District Jail (MBDJ) –male dormitory annex in Barangay Handumanan here held their annual foam party in celebration of the Feast of St. John the Baptist on June 24.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) provided water for their foam party, which is now on its third year.
Jail Senior Inspector Norberto Miciano, warden, said the inmates celebrated the festivity together with their families inside the vicinity.
Zumba instructors were also invited to hold dancing exercises.
“This is part of our healthy lifestyle programs for the PDLs,” Miciano said.
“We do not just allow them to enjoy, it’s more on highlighting the importance of health through exercise and recreation,” he added.
