34 households under granular lockdown in Pontevedra town

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – 34 households in Brgy. Sublangon Pontevedra, Capiz were placed under granular lockdown for a week after six persons contracted the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The one-week lockdown took effect from September 15, 2021 via Executive Order No. 012 series of 2021 issued by Mayor Esteban “Dodoy” Contreras,
According to Punong Barangay Rimson Clar of Sublangon, the six COVID-19 cases were detected at Sitio Proper.
The barangay and municipal government will bring food assistance to the affected households.
Meanwhile, the province of Capiz on September 16, 2021, recorded 34 new COVID-19 cases – 22 in Roxas City, 4 in Pilar, 3 each in Ivisan and Maayon, and one each in Dumarao and Sapian.
On the other hand, 42 persons recovered, based on the data released by the Capiz Provincial Health Office.
The province now has 6,537 recoveries out of 7,699 confirmed cases.
The Capiz PHO also recorded one death which brought to 381 the total number of confirmed deaths since the pandemic broke out.
